I definitely feel significantly less anxious about things and I’ve noticed myself being more happy and confident in social situations.
The other major thing I’ve been doing differently is noticing the feelings I’ve been having, which in turn has made events which cause them seem meaningful (something which I haven’t experienced for a while). So yes, feeling good!
It will be interesting to see whether these positive changes are robust to any stresses I find in my new job, but I’m optimistic.

I sought the help of Lynne because I was struggling with alcohol.
I am not addicted to alcohol but when I had to socialise I drank excessively to give me confidence.
It did not matter if I knew them well or not at all.
I would always drink before I went out would get really drunk become argumentative say and do things I would never do sober or a little tipsy.
Lynn helped me through hypnosis what in my past could be one of the reasons I do this and gave me coping techniques.
It has been approx. 10 months since I last had hypnotherapy and with the exception of a couple of lapses I have really controlled my alcohol intake at social events and people have commented I have done well and they are proud of me.

A bad experience at a dentist had left me feeling panicky and upset when visiting a new dentist – was struggling to have essential work completed.
After working with Lynne I was able to have my first trip to the dentist without panicking.

I approached Lynne for help when I found I was becoming anxious at work after starting a new employed job after 8 years of self employment. The anxiety was affecting my my work and self confidence.
After looking at various web sites off local hypnotists I felt Lynne was the therapist who could help me. After a phone call from Lynne in response to completing the contact form on the website I knew I had made the right choice. Following the phone call I arranged an appointment at her consulting rooms.
Initially we agreed that three sessions spread over approximately 5 weeks would be sufficient. Family members, co workers and more importantly myself notice a difference after the first session. Lynne worked on enforcing the improvement in my self confidence over the other 2 visits as well as teaching me coping techniques all of which reduced my anxiety at work.
The goals we agreed during the session that would indicate that sessions were having a positive effect were completed in the planned three sessions.

I was prompted to seek your services to resolve a problem I had had for around 7 years. The problem was that I could not stay overnight anywhere without feeling anxious, upset or uncomfortable, even if I really did want to stay over. When I was invited for sleepovers by friends and even family members, I would usually make an excuse as to why I didn’t want to stay. Eventually I got tired of doing this and realised I needed some help, so after sessions of unsuccessful counselling I chose to try hypnotherapy .
From working with you I felt noticeably calmer and more relaxed in anxious scenarios. I also learnt and practised that not every situation needs a response.
The results from working with you are that I can finally stay overnight or even for a weekend at family members houses (I stopped at my grandad’s caravan a few weeks ago, yay!).
However, the biggest achievement from working with you is that I went on a school trip to Paris for 4 days without one anxious/negative thought and I actually enjoyed myself, something I never thought I’d say this time last year!

Lynne was recommended to by a friend as I was going through quite a bad time in life. I was suffering with depression, anxiety and didn’t really like myself. We had session of talk therapy and hypnotherapy which help me put life back into perspective. Also I have a action plan for the bad days, everyone has a bad day from time to time.
